Things come flooding back all to quickly after the time off!
The holiday was actually pretty tiring though, especially the last few days where I was desperately getting my study room/computer room sorted out. At least that's done now, on to the lounge and spare room!
Also loads of stuff to get rid of, going to try and sell the electrical stuff (speakers, DVD player, Midi System) in Exeter sometime to make some space.

Morning all.
Still feel like I'm catching up after Christmas, but then that's expected.
Still waiting for signs of snow but nothing is forthcoming.

Going to watch Spurs, lucky! Also was a good win last night, managed to turn around a poor first half to a good game and a great result. Hopefully Derby can do some magic against Man Utd and we could keep the cup 2 years running!
I have to drive in my coat at the mo as it is so cold, and i hate de-icing my car as it is dark and cold when your doing it lol.
But sounds like you are going to be busy, but also sounds like a load of great things to be doing and should hopefully make January fly by!

Nothing too major planned this month although my weekends are looking busy here on out, off to Spurs on the 18th for the Pompey game, going Canyoning for a friends stag do then I have the wedding to go to the week after.
Actually sounds like I am going to be quite busy when you think about it!
This weather is getting in my wick this week, it's so bloody cold and I have to de-ice my car every day with no heating which is never fun. You tried driving in a coat and gloves??!

Still very cold and i am not enjoying the waking up at 6:40 to go to work, but it has to be done.
Anyone got any big plans for January? I think i spent too much over Christmas and need to just to chill out at home for the next few weeks!
Anyway, hope your all well and enjoying the new year so far!

Morning.
No gaming last night. We were getting everything ready for my daughters first day at school (reception class) in the end.
She should be there now in the classroom, will be interesting to find out what she thought of her new class later on.

Evening all.
Feels like the whole of last week flew by. No game playing, but got to watch Wall-E and spent 3 days clearing a room and re-organising. Feel shattered but have to face work tomorrow.

By the way Machie, I'm still in touch with the girl who went to France (the one I sent the flowers to!). Shame I have to wait until May until she comes back :(

Afternoon all, feel like I wasted my weekend a bit but I guess that is why we have weekdays to get stuff done!
Worried about work tomorrow...got into a bit of an arguement with of the Big Issue sellers that constantly is rude to everyone when I left on Friday.
"Get your f***-in fingers in your wallet and buy one of these you tight-fisted ****" was what he said to me, to which I replied
"Sorry, not today..ome of us have homes to go to"
Guess it was a bit tight, but the consant abuse he dishes out I think might warrant such a fly remak back.

Once again, I haven't bothered getting up until the afternoon. I think going back to uni and work next week might just be a shock to the system.
Maybe having to get up before lunchtime tomorrow to donate blood will have some sort of effect...

Bah...15 minutes until home time... TGIF....it'd be another hour if it was any other day!
Manic morning, really busy clinics and today this afternoon one lousy scan from casualty. Didn't even occupy me for 5 minutes! Took them back to the casualty department to stretch my legs and ended up with an electric shock off the lift. I want to go home and start on the Freeola Quiz!
How is everyone today? Sorry for my little grumble.
*Hoping to bump into Machie sometime today for a catch up...maybe I'll Facebook him later...*

Worn out.
Decided to completely remove everything from the computer room today; DVDs, Books, crap lying about...everything.
Still haven't finished, I'm going to be doing it all day tomorrow as well. Oh well.

Well done on the GAD, Emmie.
We have our grapes for New Years eve and some Cava which has been stuck in the back of the cupboard for who knows how long.
Anyway, been busy clearing out the loft today. Not the most exciting news I know, but that's what I've been doing. So it's off to the recycling centre tomorrow (can see Just Tinka reading this and then going off to find the knife ;) )
Need to write a few reviews of games I've played so far this holiday. I'd really like to get a GAD so I can get my first game of 2009!

Wow I've not had an Indian for a donkeys age, wont be having one tomorrow though as an afternoon drinking session has been called (After work of course). Do need to get down the curry house some point soon though.
You're going for an interview without any job information? Good luck with that mate!

Good to hear you've been kept busy, I've mostly been watching TV and reading. It's starting to get a little dull. Thankfully, New Year's Eve, Indian food and alcohol exist. Hopefully it won't be too pricey, as I'll wake up to find myself £250-worth-of-rent poorer.
Some good news here; I should have an interview for Easter/Summer work (!) in a couple of weeks. Only problem is, I haven't been given a lot of details about it...
